A writer’s journey: A conversation with Wen-Yi
Ms Wen-yi Lee is the author of YA horror 'The Dark We Know' and a forthcoming Singaporean historical fantasy 'When They Burned the Butterfly'.
Her work has also appeared in venues including Uncanny, Lightspeed and Strange Horizons, as well as in various anthologies.
Her work has been supported by the Carl Brandon Society's Octavia E Butler Memorial Scholarship, National Arts Council of Singapore and the Norwich National Centre of Writing.

Mr Daren Kwang Poh Chun is a former delinquent who transformed his life through resilience and the unwavering support of his social worker, Ong Teck Chye. After facing a turbulent childhood marked by family issues, homelessness and instituionalisation, Daren found a path to stability and purpose.
Inspire by his journey, he pursued a career in social work to help others facing similar struggles. His story highlights the importance of consistent support and the potential for personal growth despite adversity.
